Disappointed that my account was denied for no reason. Maybe an explanation when you deny somebody.

This board is primarily for Canadians interested in homeschooling. Perhaps you could make a quick post here letting us know what drew your interest to our site and we could go from there.
We don't want to be too exclusive, but we do want to protect our members.
Thank you.

Hi,
I believe the message you're referring to was about 5 years ago when I tried to arrange a group buy for tickets.
But, enough of that, the reason I came here was that i was considering the very real possibility that i may have to home school my kids.
I actually just wanted to read some of the posts to see how other parents are getting along with homeschooling, what their experiences are and what the pros and cons are.
If it's a gender based board I understand, but I would implore you to at least make messages readable (unless it compromises the security of members) so that one can at least read some experiences of other members.
Thanks for responding.

I apologize. It sounds as if we were too hasty. New members used to be able to read the board, but after a nasty bunch of spam we recently adopted the 'approved' feature. It looks as if we were over-zealous in not approving your account.
I'm sorry. I'll see what I can do to fix it.

Okay, I've checked and can't reactivate this account at this point. However, if you sign up again we'll approve it and let you get reading.

This is weird. He was here every day when he wasn't allowed in and now that he's allowed in, I haven't seen him....does he know he actually IS a member now?

Funny you mention that, because I tried a few days after re-registering "johnk" and still no joy.
Came back today after x amount of time, (I've been busy, and after the 2nd no activate, was considering just giving up)
Seen your post, and..well.. no I don't have access, hence why you've never seen me.
If you're having technical difficulties with this particular account, like giving it access and need me to make a completely new one, please advise.
The johnk count is created, but has not been approved, hence me posting under a new user name.
regards,
john

I'm sure you'll be approved post haste, John!
I homeschool my two kids, grade nine and grade twelve. How many do you have? Are you just starting out? What grades?

Your Account Status says Activated when I look at it. If you still can't get your johnk account to work, please do sign up with another account. So sorry for all the hassle.

Just wanted to drop you a line that I finally have access! Thanks so much guys!
I have 2 boys who are in school, been thinking about going the homeschooling route, however I would need to make sure I can do a better job than their schools. (I also realize that this a huge commitment!)
